1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. It stores no official criminal records and cannot retrieve a file, conduct an official check, or submit documents for a visitor.

It points to custodians such as the Ogle County Sheriff, Ogle County Circuit Court, Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification, and Illinois State Police Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the website, you agree not to:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site

Illinois law restricts misuse of Illinois State Police Sex Offender Registry data. That information exists for public-safety awareness, never vigilantism or discriminatory treatment.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check for an FCRA-regulated purpose must come through an authorized Illinois State Police process or an FCRA-compliant provider.
